FALLS CITY -  A preliminary hearing is scheduled in Richardson County Court for a Rulo man accused of seriously injuring a man in an Jan. 4 attack.

Vincent Bennett, 25, is charged with first degree assault at his residence in Rulo.

An arrest affidavit says Bennett beat a man with his fist, causing the man to be hospitalized and require surgery.
