NEBRASKA CITY – Nicholas Reed, 35, of Nebraska City was sentenced to state prison on Feb. 10 on theft convictions.

Prosecutors say Reed took security cameras from a Nebraska City storage unit on Sept. 22. After being released from custody on night-time home confinement, he was arrested for suspicion of stealing two television sets from a camper on north Seventh Street.

He was sentenced to 18 months in prison on the security camera theft and an additional 60 days for the camper theft.
He was also sentenced to  12 months post release supervision.
