Humboldt to pay $72,662 for law enforcement

FALLS CITY – Amanda VanAsperen from the Southeast Nebraska Adult Drug Court presented an agreement to the Richardson County Board Tuesday regarding the start of drug court.

Commissioners entered into the agreement to establish the drug court in Pawnee, Richardson, Otoe, Nemaha and Johnson counties.

Richardson County will contribute $7,878 and provide services to be the fiscal reporting party of the court.

In other action, Sheriff Rick Hardesty Jr. reported that Rick Dettmann has been named jail supervisor and Clayton Hardenberger jail administrator.

The board entered a contract to provide law enforcement to Humboldt for $72,662 a  year.
