NC Man Accused Of Machete Threat

NEBRASKA CITY – A Nebraska City man was arrested Friday after allegedly threatening his girlfriend with a machete.

Police were called to a north 16^th Street residence where neighbors say Dearle Wounded Arrow, 52, had been arguing with his girlfriend for most of the day. Wounded Arrow said he had the machete to chop some grass near a tree.

The woman told police she was afraid Wounded Arrow would use the machete to harm her.
