Arbor Day Farm opening flower field for Applejack

NEBRASKA CITY – Arbor Day Farm is opening its U-pick Flower Field for the Applejack Festival.

Visitors can snip their own flowers and take the freshly cut arrangement home in a mason jar.

The limited edition ice cream, Nebraska to the Core, is also available for the festival Sept. 20-21 and Sept. 27-28.

During the opening weekend, more than 20 vendors are expected for the Love the local makers market at the historic barns. Living history is planned at Arbor Lodge mansion.
