LINCOLN, Neb. - St. Mary's knocked off Wynot in the Class D-2 finals to win their first boys basketball state title since 2012. 

Sophomore Ben Barlow led all scorers with 19 points in the win. The Cardinals led by just three at the break, but a 12-3 run to start the second half propelled St. Mary's to a double-digit lead, topping the Blue Devils in points in the paint 26-18. 

The Blue Devils were led in scoring by Justin Heimes with 19. 

The Cardinals end their season 24-5, while the Blue Devils finish at 21-7.
