Missouri River near record lows
River is two feet below its lowest mark last winter
NEBRASKA CITY - The Missouri River level at Nebraska City Sunday night at 2.4 feet. The river is about two feet lower than its low all of last winter.
A four foot drop in the river level is reported at Sioux Falls and ice is affecting the gauge at Omaha.
The river at Rulo is expected to fall below 1 foot today and is falling to .7 of an inch at St. Joseph. The record low at Rulo was at minus .19 on Christmas Day in 1990.
