Minor injury suspected in Fourth Corso crash

NEBRASKA CITY - Nebraska City Fire and Rescue responded to a personal injury accident at Fourth Corso and Eighth Street at 3:54 p.m. on Thursday.
There was airbag deployment in a U.S. Postal Service vehicle, but serious injury is not suspected.
Nebraska City police are investigating.
At 5:21 p.m. Thursday, Nebraska City Fire and Rescue was dispatched south of Nebraska City for a car on fire along Highway 75. There were no flames visible minutes later.
At 1:52 p.m. on Wednesday, Syracuse and Unadilla fire crews were dispatched to a car on fire on Highway 2 near 24 Road.
Emergency crews were able to clear the scene in about 25 minutes.
Nebraska City fire also responded to a report of a pile of tires on fire at Fourth Terrace and Second Rue at 10:10 a.m. on Wednesday.
