OMAHA, Neb. -- Prison time was given to an Omaha man following his child pornography conviction.
Acting U.S. Attorney Susan Lehr said 28-year-old Sudesh Rai, of Omaha, was sentenced in federal court in Omaha on Tuesday. He was convicted for possession of child pornography. Rai will serve 42 months in prison with a five-year term of supervised release after. There is no parole in the federal system. Rai has to pay $1,100 in special assessments.
