Sheriff looking for suspects in ATM theft
Loud noise heard around 4:30 a.m. Sunday
Update: The sheriff's office reports that the pickup truck has been found. The sheriff's office is asking the public for information regarding the truck or ATM thefts.
AUBURN – The Nemaha County Sheriff’s Office is looking for suspects in an ATM theft in Auburn Sunday morning.
A press release says deputies were called at 4:30 a.m. Sunday about a loud noise in the area of 23rd Street and Dahlke Avenue, near the ESU No. 4 building. Deputies found that the ATM located north of the ESU had been pulled from its base and forced open.

Cameras show that two males using a 2005 white Ford F350 were responsible for the theft. They were able to steal an undisclosed amount of cash.
The sheriff’s office is asking anyone with information about the suspects or vehicle to contact the sheriff’s office.
