A water main break has shut down a building on the UNMC campus in Omaha.
By News Channel NebraskaOMAHA, Neb. -- A water main break has shut down a building on the UNMC campus in Omaha.
Officials with Nebraska Medicine said the Clarkson Doctors Building South, near 42nd and Farnam, will be closed until Monday, Aug. 14 due to a broken water main near campus.
The med center said they've been calling patients with appointments to get them rescheduled.
The med center's emergency department and inpatient units are said to be open and still fully functional.
The Sr. Media Relation Coordinator with Nebraska Medicine said that because of the break will close 42nd St. between Farnam St. and Dewey Ave. for the rest of the month.
Access to the Clarkson Tower is still available from the south on 42nd St.
