FALLS CITY - An arrest warrant has been issued for Brian Valdez, 49, Leavenworth, Kan., after he failed to appear for sentencing on May 2.

He was found guilty of attempting to steal a Chrysler Crossfire in Falls City in July of 2021, but did not show up in court for fourth months. He was arrested on a warrant and failed to appear again in January for a settlement conference.

He appeared in February to enter pleas, but did not appear for sentencing.
