By News Channel NebraskaNEBRASKA CITY - A letter inviting donations for the Nebraska City Police Department K9 Unit comes with a Mack trading card and his paw print signature.
The flip side of the Mack trading card includes a photo with Sgt. Chris Richardson, Mack’s Christmas Eve birthdate in Slovakia in 2015 and a summary of some of his abilities.
The letter from Sgt. Richardson says the K9 unit is proven effective, but Mack will retire soon due to age.
Sgt. Richardson is hoping to raise $18,000 for a new Belgian Malinois, German shepherd or Dutch shepherd.
The K9 Facebook page today includes a link to PupLove on TikTok.
