Traffic stop leads to drug charge for Humboldt man

FALLS CITY - The Richardson County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Humboldt man on Feb. 11 on drug charges.

Colt Beetison is suspected of possession of methamphetamine and marijuana. He was arrested on an active warrant following a traffic stop.

Beetison is scheduled for a court appearance in Pawnee County on a misdemeanor assault charge.

An Otoe County judge issued an arrest warrant on Jan. 12 when Beetison failed to appear for a time-pay hearing.
