Watermeier leads state's Public Service Commission

LINCOLN - On Tuesday, the Nebraska Public Service commissioners re-elected District 1 Commissioner Dan Watermeier to chair for a second year.

The Syracuse resident is in the fourth year of a six-year term.

District 5 Commissioner Mary Ridder will serve as vice chair. Elected in 2016, Ridder represents 51 counties in greater Nebraska.
