Love, The Locals highlights events at Arbor Day Farm
Arbor Day Farm plans events for fall festival
LINCOLN – Arbor Day Farm will have no shortage of fun for the entire family during the three weekends of Nebraska City’s annual AppleJack Festival.
The “Love the Locals” makers market will move from its traditional home in Lincoln to Arbor Day Farm for the Sept. 18-19 weekend.
The farm’s historic barns will host a variety of creators and businesses.
Arbor Day Farm Vice President Austin Mackrill said activities are planned through festival’s three weekend.
Mackrill: "There is something for everyone in the family to enjoy, from our hard cider and wine tastings for mom and dad to the Tree Adventure and apple picking for the children. We are so excited to share our love of harvesttime with our guests.”
Porter’s barbecue and the Timbers restaurant at Lied Lodge will be open and there are opportunities for U-pick apples and pumpkins.
Guests are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance at arbordayfarm.org
