Mills County investigates accident with five children

GLENWOOD – The Mills County Sheriff’s Office reports several injuries in a single-car accident Saturday afternoon at the intersection of Levi and Mahaffey roads.

First responders determined that there were seven occupants in the vehicle, including five children ages five months to 13 years old. Investigators say three of the juveniles were unsecured in the bed of the vehicle.

Medical helicopter and ambulance transported all seven to the University of Nebraska Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
