NC Council To Consider Pandemic Rules For Ballfields, Courts and Park Facilities
No use of dugouts or benches prior to June 18

NEBRASKA CITY – The Nebraska City City Council will consider rules for re-opening ballfields and park facilities at its 6 p.m. Zoom meeting on Monday, June 1.
The city proposes a signed agreement for use of ballfields, concessions and restrooms during the ongoing pandemic beginning June 18.
Posted COVID-19 alerts will require restrooms to be cleaned and disinfected regularly, at least every two hours, while players and fans are present.
Concession stands will be cleaned and disinfected regularly while players are present and there will be no self-serve condiments. Face masks are required for workers who will interact directly with customers.
June 1
- no use of dugouts or benches
- Players are to be lined up against the fence off the field at least six feet apart
- Equipment must be disinfected after each game or practice
June 18
- Use of dugouts and benches are used for games only. Teams must sanitize dugouts and benches before leaving.
- Fans must remain in vehicles during player warm ups and may come to the field once players enter the playing area for the game.
- Fan attendance is limited to household members of the players.
- There is no bleacher use for outdoor games. Fans may bring their own chairs.
- Fan capacity can not be more than 500.
