Sunday Morning Stop Yields 75 Pounds Marijuana

NEBRASKA CITY – The Otoe County Sheriff’s Office reports a marijuana arrest Sunday following a Highway 2 traffic stop.

A sheriff’s deputy stopped a vehicle near Road 34 east of Syracuse and a K9 alerted to the presence of illegal drugs.

A press release says a search of the vehicle yielded three duffel bags containing vacuumed sealed packages of marijuana, weighing about 75 pounds.

Dylan Sherwood, 30, of Spartanburg, S.C., is suspected of possession with intent to deliver.
