Girls Shine Brighter In Cookie Season

OMAHA – The Girl Scouts are launching their 2020 cookie season asking cookie fans to post selfies of themselves eating or “lighting up” their cookies.

Girls Shine Brighter with Girl Scout Cookies is this year’s theme at hashtag GSSN.

The official cookie season starts Feb. 7 with new packaging featuring Girl Scouts enjoying activities from camping to designing robots.

Fran Marshall, chief executive officer of the Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska, said the cookie program teaches entrepreneurship, financial literacy and leadership skills.
