Sheriff Helps Conestoga TeamMates Prepare Cookies

PLATTSMOUTH – The Cass County Sheriff’s Office participated in a TeamMates event at Conestoga Elementary School.

Sheriff  William Brueggemann  and a couple of the deputies were invited and participated in the  Mentor/Mentee cookie decorating event on Dec. 5.

 A parent donated her time baking and ingredients, some by Hy-Vee, were donated.

 The students and invited Mentor/Mentee finished the goodies. The students then present or hand delivers the cookies to our community service departments.

Brueggemann said he and the deputies had a great time decorating cookies with the kids.
