AUBURN, Neb. — A downtown building in Auburn is significantly damaged after a semi-truck drove into it.

The crash happened between 1:00 and 2:00 a.m. on J St. near the intersection with Central Ave., which is the main intersection in town. Photos from the scene show that the truck hit the back of the Village Designs building, sending walls crumbling and creating large piles of rubble.

Authorities say nobody was injured in the crash.

Emergency responders shut down traffic in the northbound lane for an extended period of time. Officials are on scene investigating the structural integrity of the building.
