NEBRASKA CITY- U.S. Sen. Deb Fischer has reintroduced the Haulers of Agriculture and Livestock Safety Act.

The act would provide exemptions to hours-of-service for drivers beyond the planting and harvest seasons. It would also clarify the definition of agricultural commodities.

Good Life Agriculture is proposing a salmon production facility in Nebraska City that would use trucks to haul in “head-on” salmon and to haul out finished agricultural products.
