LINCOLN - Daniel Holmberg, 62, of Lincoln is charged in Lancaster County of sexual abuse by a school worker on Dec. 2.

A Lincoln police affidavit says multiple students describe similar incidents involving Holmberg, their English language learner teacher.

Students told investigators that Holmberg would learn how to say they are special in their language and also to comment on their physical appearance. Students allege grabbing of the waist, stroking of hair, unwanted hugs and illegal touching of four girls ages 16 to 18.

Holmberg was put on leave at Northeast High School. He is a former teacher at Nebraska City. A $200,000 bond was set in county court.
