NEBRASKA CITY – Nebraska City Police Chief Ben Murry says there is no danger to the public as police continue to search for the subject of a felony warrant.

A press release says police were joined by the Metro Area Fugitive Task Force, Nebraska State Patrol and Otoe County Sheriff’s Office searched Arbor View Apartments and the South Second Street area on Monday.

The press release says although the suspect was not located, there is no threat to the public.

On 11/24/2025 A heavy Law Enforcement presence may have been noted in the area of 1116 and 1216 S 2nd Street Nebraska City. The Nebraska City Police along with the Metro Area Fugitive Task Force, Nebraska State Patrol and Otoe County Sheriff’s Department were attempting to locate a subject with a series of felony warrants that may have been in the area. Officers were not able to locate the subject this time and are actively attempting to locate. There is no threat to the community this is an on-going investigation. Subject information will not be released at this time due to the on-going investigation.
