AUBURN – The new poultry rules in Auburn are part of the program for a backyard poultry workshop organized by the UNL Extension in Nemaha County.

The workshop will also cover housing and nutrition, as well as health and disease.

The workshop is scheduled at the 4-H Building in Auburn from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 20.

Assistant Extension Educator Ritika Lamichhane said the workshop is suitable for those getting started with a backyard flock or those wanting to learn more.
