Andrew B. Jones, age 43 of Tabor, IA passed away on Saturday; September 13, 2025 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Nebraska City, NE.

Andrew Benjamin Jones was born on December 2, 1981 in Shenandoah, IA; the son of Paul E. Jones, Jr. and Twila K. (Burch) Jones.  He attended school in Shenandoah and later the family moved to Sidney, IA where he attended school and graduated with the class of 2000.   Following his graduation from the Sidney High School, he attended North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) in Mason City, IA and later Iowa Western Community College (IWCC) at Clarinda, IA.

Andrew worked at Larson Motors in Nebraska City for over 11 years and served as the GM Sales Manager.  He had a great love for the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing.  He was a sports fanatic and enjoyed NFL and College Football and was an avid San Francisco 49ers and Miami Hurricanes fan.  He was an animal lover and loved his dogs Lucy and Fred and his cat Tucker.  Andrew was blessed with a generous and kind heart had a great sense of humor.  He was adventurous, compassionate, and always a pleasure to be around.  He loved working “the deal” (which he inherited from his dad Bud) and dug his heels in when he needed to!

He is survived by his soul mate Robin Ganske of Tabor, IA, his mother Twila Larson of Sidney, IA, Robin’s children Riley Schoening and Sawyer Schoening that he loved and was like a father to; three siblings:  Angela Sinner and husband Mike of Nebraska City, Jason Bonnes and wife Gayle of Grand Island, NE and Christina Causgrove and husband Matt of Nebraska City; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Paul Jones, Jr. in 1991 and step-father Charles J. “Chuck” Larson in 2024.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Friday; September 26, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Tabor Fire Station in Tabor, IA.   A time for sharing remembrances and memories will begin at 6:00 p.m.
