Whiskey Springs destroyed by fire

HAMBURG - Fremont County fire crews battled a fire early  Tuesday morning that destroyed the Whiskey Springs Saloon along Bluff Road north of Hamburg.

Hamburg firefighters were dispatched at 3:30 a.m. Tankers from Nebraska City were dispatched for mutual aid at 3:55 a.m. at 2474 Bluff Road.

Crews were still on scene at 9 a.m.
