FALLS CITY - Kevin Dexter, 59, of Nortonville, Kan., was sentenced to two years probation for possession on Jan. 13.

A Richardson County Sheriff’s Office affidavit says methamphetamine was found in a search incident to arrest after a Highway 75 traffic stop.

A charge of habitual criminal was dismissed.

Charles Kramer, 45, of Falls City was sentenced to a year of probation for menacing assault on Nov. 16.

A Falls City police affidavit says a man found a kitten on Wilson Street and brought it the front porch of Kramer’s residence, where he thought the kitten must belong. The man returned later with several juveniles who had been accused of killing the kitten.

The affidavit says Kramer came onto the porch with a pellet gun and the juveniles ran back across the street to call 911.
