Flood watch for eastern Nebraska, SW Iowa

Storms with heavy rainfall expected overnight

The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for much of eastern Nebraska and southwest Iowa.

The watch is from this evening through Wednesday morning as scattered, slow-moving thunderstorms move through the area.

Heavy rainfall is expected overnight. Rainfall rates of up to 2 inches per hour are likely in the heaviest storms.
