2025 Pawnee County Fair Schedule

Fair features live music, entertainers, parade, tractor pull and MBA BBQ competition<br/>

PAWNEE CITY - The Pawnee County Fair open today with static exhibits and open class entries.

The swine, rabbit and poultry shows are Thursday followed by a 6 p.m. fair parade.

 Justice Currie, the daughter of Brian and Jill Sasse, is this year’s fair queen. She attends Lewiston High School, where she is a FFA leader.

The horse speed events are at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

Horse, goat and sheep shows are Friday.

 Beef and round robin showmanship are Saturday.

 

The fair features inflatables including a mechanical bull, obstacle course and farm yard playland.

Bush Pullers and the 54th annual Pawnee County Fair farm tractor and truck pull begins Friday, July 18.

Wildlife Encounters are scheduled Friday from 6 to 9 p.m.

Mud volleyball tournament begins Saturday, July 1.

The Outlaw Truck and Tractor Pull is Saturday at 7 p.m.

The Nebraska Game and Parks trailer is scheduled 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday. Shades the Clown is also scheduled Saturday

A Midwest Barbecue Association BBQ competition begins at 8 a.m. on Saturday at the Fairview Golf Clubhouse.

Thursday, July 17

  • 8 a.m. swine show
  • 10 a.m. rabbit show
  • 1 p.m. poultry show
  • 6 p.m. parade
  • 7:30 p.m. horse speed events

 

Friday, July 18

  • 9 a.m. – horse show
  • 2 p.m. – goat show
  • 4 p.m. – sheep show

 

Saturday, July 19

  • 9 a.m. – beef show
  • 1 p.m. – Round robin showmanship
  • 3 p.m. – Premium auction
