Bluegrass festival returns to creative district

By News Channel NebraskaNEBRASKA CITY- The Nebraska City Creative District is organizing its bluegrass festival on Saturday, June 7.
Musicians include Henhouse Prowlers, McGovern String Band, Corson Branch Buzzard Club and Blue Raven Bluegrass Review.
Gates open at 4 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Building.
Kimmel Orchard is hosting Donut Fest on Saturday.
Nebraska Brass will be making a stop at the First United Methodist Church in Nebraska City at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 13.
The creative district schedule this summer includes Josh Hoyer in August, Hispanic Heritage celebration in September, Harvest Hoedown and art walk in October.
