HUMBOLDT - Alex Morado, 54, is charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of knife on May 10. A habitual criminal charge alleges that Morado has assault and drug convictions in Colorado and his driver’s license is revoked.

A Richardson County Sheriff’s Office affidavit says the narcotics detection K9 Freya indicated to Morado’s vehicle at the Dollar General in Humboldt and methamphetamine was found inside the car, along with the weapon.

A $50,000 bond was set.

In other court action, Stephanie Corliss, 36, is charged in Richardson County with conspiracy on Dec. 23.

A Richardson County Sheriff’s Office affidavit says deputies searched a Fourth Street residence in Humboldt on May 2 and made two arrests. The affidavit says Corliss is suspected of acting as a middle man with someone from Omaha with a resident of the Humboldt residence to acquire methamphetamine.
