LINCOLN – The Arbor Day Foundation is partnering with Subaru to distribute 100,000 potted, regionally-appropriate trees in 2025.

An Arbor Day Foundation press release calls the partnership and the Subaru Loves the Earth campaign the largest corporate tree distribution ever.

Subaru said working with the Arbor Day Foundation is a natural extension of the company’s desire to support like-minded organizations. Through its Subaru Loves the Earth and other initiatives, the company has distributed over 1.1 million trees.

Subaru dealers in Omaha, Bellevue, LaVista and Lincoln are giving away trees.

Arbor Day Foundation CEO Dan Lambe said the initiative supports the Arbor Day Foundation’s mission to plant trees in the communities that need them most.
