Matt was born August 15, 1977, in Omaha, son of Dale and Nancy Nutzman.   He passed away in Omaha, NE on March 18, 2025.

Matt graduated from Conestoga High School in 1996 where he was actively involved in football, basketball, and track. He played football for the Midland University Warriors in Fremont and graduated in 2000 with a degree in Business.

Matt’s greatest joy are his two sons, Graham and Colton, who attend Wahoo High School. He was their biggest fan and so proud of them.   He always enjoyed being ‘at the farm’ where there was peace and quiet. He loved riding dirt bikes with his dad Dale and his sons. He boasted with pride watching his boys ride. He also cherished the family holiday celebrations planned by his mom
Nancy.

Matt’s career was in the insurance business at various locations. He enjoyed meeting great people through the years and had a strong work ethic, always doing the best for his customers. He received several awards for excellence, including Market Agency Leader and P/C Manager of the Year.

Matt is survived by his dad Dale,  sons Graham and Colton, their mother Alissa, sister Brandi and her husband Doug Sutko and their daughters Millie & Louise, and his special friend Michelle Hayden.   He was preceded in death by his Mother Nancy, grandparents  Deane & Mary Lou Nutzman, and Zane & Sally Scheer.

Private family graveside services will be held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Nehawka, NE.
