SYRACUSE – Syracuse firefighters will be hitting the streets and going door-to-door Tuesday asking for support and selling tickets to the April 5 dance at the Kimmel Event Center.

The outdoor fire siren is scheduled to sound at 6 p.m. to remind residents of the annual fundraiser.

Contributions to the volunteer fire department are used to help with training, education and activities throughout the year.

Doors open for the dance at 7 p.m. and live music with Dirty Boots begins at 8 p.m.

In the event that firefighters miss you at home, call a volunteer to donate.
