2:24 p.m. – Severe thunderstorm watch issued for Atichison County, Mo.
2:25 p.m. – public reports 61 mph winds at McPherson, Kan.
3:02 p.m. - Hail producing storm on Kansas border between Pawnee City and Falls City
Dust storm. Emergency management reports ½ mile visibility due to dust and 55 mph winds near Wichita, Kan.
3:14 p.m. – Thunderstorm warning for northeast Johnson County, Nemaha County, SE Otoe County, western Richardson County, NE Pawnee County until 4 pm.
3:47 p.m. – Trained spotter reports limbs less than 1-inch in diameter on the ground at Humboldt. Trained spotter reports 1” hail near Sterling.

3:53 pm. – Brenner Field at Falls City reporting 48 mph wind gust. Winds over 20 mph since 11 a.m.
3:55 p.m. – Severe thunderstorm warning for Johnson, Pawnee and Gage counties.
4:05 pm. – Mesonet reports 55 mph wind south of Auburn in Richardson County.
4:08 p.m. – Thunderstorm warning until 5 p.m. Thunderstorms near Hamburg and Cook.
4:55 p.m. - Emergency management reports 50-55 mph winds in line from county line northwesterly to Dunbar.
4:52 p.m. – Law enforcement reports 70 mph wind near Cortland in Gage County. State trooper reports visibility down to 100 yards.
Mesonet reports 65 mph wind at Peru.
Trained spotter reports 60 mph wind west of Tecumseh.
Mesonet reports 60 mph wind gust west of Plattsmouth., 55 mph wind at Pacific Junction.
5:02 p.m. – OPPD reporting power outages: Richardson, 1,139; Nemaha, 252; Cass, 655; Otoe, 106, Johnson, 524. Brenner Field at Falls City reports 48 mph wind, temperatures rises to 76 degrees.
Dust advisory – The NWS issued a dust advisory for Johnson, Otoe and Pawnee counties until 6:15 pm.
A 4:37 pm., the leading edge of a large cloud of dust was along a line extending from three miles NW of Beaver Crossing to near Lincoln to three miles NE of Talmage, moving north at 55 mph.
Low visibility and strong winds are blamed for car accidents in the region.
