BRAINARD, NE - The top two seeds punched their tickets to the Subdistrict D1-2 Boys Basketball Tournament on Tuesday, as heard on Otoe County Country.

In the first semifinal, top-seeded East Butler downed Weeping Water, 71-31. The host squad got 30 points from Brody Johnson, while Jakson Smaus helped out with 17. The Indians got a team-high nine points from Nate Tejan. Weeping Water's season ends with a record of 8-16.

In the second semi, two-seed Elmwood-Murdock had no issue with Lourdes Central Catholic, grabbing a 59-44 victory. EM saw Carson Towle hit for 21 points, while Aidan Schmidt chipped in with 13. The Knights got 14 points from Brady Schnitzer, while Blue Oggs dropped in ten. LCC's season wraps with a mark of 6-18.

Elmwood-Murdock will clash with East Butler on Thursday at 7 p.m. for the D1-2 Title on Otoe County Country 1600AM/105.5FM and on the web at B103.FM.
