Arbor Day Foundation: You Pledge, We Plant

LINCOLN - The Arbor Day Foundation is launching a new tree-planting campaign to bring greater impact to individual choices that benefit the environment.

The foundation says it will plant a tree in a recovering forest in honor of people who log their environmental commitments online.

These commitments include cycling, carpooling, mending clothing, volunteering for community green spaces and composting.

The foundation’s Dan Lambe said small acts can up to global good and he encourages people around the world to put hope for the planet in motion.
