Judge denies bond reduction for arson suspect

Update: The Otoe County Attorney's Office has dismissed a complaint in Otoe County Court against Graham.
NEBRASKA CITY – County Judge David Partsch denied a bond reduction for 38-year-old Natasha Graham, who is charged in Otoe County with arson on Feb. 1.
Graham’s attorney Robert Larsen of Omaha said the case involves accident. He said Graham does not pose a threat to the community.
Otoe County Attorney Jennifer Panko-Rahe opposed a reduction of Graham’s $50,000 bond. She suggested a pretrial risk assessment before bond is adjusted.
Judge Partsch ordered screening by pretrial release services and told Graham perhaps the screening would convince him to lower the bond to a $1,000 provision.
In a separate case, Graham, entered a plea to disturbing the peace on Nov.17 and was fined $100. Judge Partsch discharged the fine and costs noting Graham’s inability to pay.
Graham, who is listed in court records as homeless, is scheduled for preliminary hearing Feb. 26 on allegations of arson at her mother’s 11th Corso residence.
