NEBRASKA CITY-  An Otoe County judge set $250,000 bonds for a Syracuse couple accused of possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, delivery of marijuana and possession of money to be used in a drug crime.

The Nebraska State Patrol reports obtaining a search warrant for a camper at Second and Mohawk streets and a residence at 860 Fifth Street. Officers say Brian Werner, 41, and Kellie Bassinger, 30, were about to leave in a vehicle when they arrived to serve the warrant.

An affidavit says $404 in cash and methamphetamine was found in the vehicle. A search of the residence yielded 186 grams of methamphetamine in a safe, 536 grams of marijuana in sealed packages, a 9 mm Ruger semi-automatic handgun, digital scale, self-sealing bags and paraphernalia with meth residue.

Preliminary hearings in Otoe County Court are scheduled Feb. 12.
