Tyson Beauperthuy, Doane University – 184lb Weight Class

Doane University wrestler Tyson Beauperthuy is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Wrestler-of-the-Week.  Beauperthuy, a junior from Colorado Springs, Colorado, won all five matches on the week to improve to 21-0 on the year. He picked up three wins over Top 15 wrestlers. In his match against NAIA No. 9 Brice Parks, he trailed 12-3 before going on a 22-5 run to post a major decision victory.

Always one of the best wrestling programs in the NAIA, Doane has had at least one male or female wrestler recognized as GPAC Wrestler of the Week in nearly every weekly awards cycle this season. Up next for Beauperthuy and the Doane men is a single dual against Hastings on Friday before the Tigers compete in the Missouri Valley Open next weekend.
