NEBRASKA CITY- A Nemaha man faces new methamphetamine charges after he failed to appear in a Nemaha County court for sentencing on Jan. 8.
Nathan Palmer, 39, of Nemaha is charged in Otoe County with possession on Jan. 9.
A sheriff’s deputy says he stopped Palmer’s vehicle after a stop sign violation in Dunbar and arrested Palmer on a Nemaha County warrant. The affidavit says a methamphetamine pipe was found during a jail search.
He was previously convicted in Nemaha County with possession of methamphetamine on April 24. He was scheduled for sentencing on Jan. 8 but did not appear in district court.
In the Nemaha County case, a state trooper stopped Palmer on Highway 136 and found a pipe with meth residue.
