Driskell charged with attempted robbery
Court sets $100,000 bond
NEBRASKA CITY – Otoe County Judge David Partsch set a $100,000 bond for a Nebraska City man suspected of attempted robbery at NP Mart on Jan. 4.
He is also charged with use of a weapon to commit a felony. The judge set a preliminary hearing on Feb. 5.
A Nebraska city police affidavit is sealed by the county court, but a search warrant affidavit filed in the district court says a store employee recognized the voice of a man who followed her into the store with a handgun. The affidavit says the man had been previously kicked out of NP Mart for using vape products indoors after he was asked not to.
Police searched a residence at 229 Fourth Terrace Jan. 8 and arrested 45-year-old Christopher Driskell.
