Rogelio Rodriguez Reyes, age 54 of Nebr. City, NE passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024 at his home.

Rogelio was born on April 16, 1970 in Mexico; the son of Ismael Rodriquez and Victoria Reyes.  He attended school in Mexico through the 12th Grade and then moved to the United States in 1998.  He settled in Nebraska City, where he worked at Cargill for over 20 years.

He is survived by his wife Dora Sanchez of Nebr. City, NE; children:  Claudia Janeth Rodriguez Alvarez of Mexico, Suleyma Rodriguez Alvarez of Nebr. City, NE, Rogelio Rodriguez Alvarez of Mexico, Rogelio Rodriguez of Omaha, NE, Victoria Rodriguez of Omaha, NE, Jesus Murillo of Nebr. City, NE, Ernesto Sanchez of Des Moines, IA, Alonzo Sanchez of Des Moines, IA, Sarah Murillo of Mexico, Samantha Sanchez of Des Moines, IA and Victor Sanchez of Shenandoah, IA; grandchildren:  Estrella Rodriguez, Natalia Murillo, Jesus Murillo, Ulises Rodriguez, Zaul Rodriguez, Wendie Rodriguez, Yandel Ismael Rodriguez, Sophia Sanchez, Leiah Pineda, Favian Sanchez, Luckas Rodriguez, Cielo Emiliano, Nico Rodriguez, Becket Courtier, Alicia Sanchez, Brayan Ceballos, Jennifer Ceballos, Dahiana Ceballos and Kaily Ceballos; his mother Victoria Rodriguez Reyes of Mexico; siblings:  Maria Luisa Rodriguez, Ismael Rodriguez, Juan Jose Rodriguez and Sujey Rodriguez all of Mexico; other family and friends.

Rogelio was preceded in death by his father, Ismael Rodriguez in 2007.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Gude Mortuary in Nebr. City.  Burial will follow at Wyuka Cemetery in Nebr. City.

The family will greet friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday (Jan. 2) and from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday (Jan. 3) at the mortuary.
