SYRACUSE, NE - The Syracuse Rockets split a home doubleheader with the Elmwood-Murdock Knights on Thursday. The visiting girls grabbed a 51-31 win before the host guys picked up a 63-39 victory.

In the ladies' contest, Elmwood-Murdock got four three-pointers from Brooklyn Mans, who led the charge with 19 points. Brooke Goudie helped out with thirteen. Syracuse had a pair of players reach nine points:  Jayden Meyer & Bridget Donovan. The Knights go into the holiday break with a record of 5-2, while the Rockets sit at 2-4.

The boys' battle saw Syracuse use a balanced attack to stay unbeaten. Maxwell Parde hit for 14, Nolan Gartner dropped in eleven, and Will Janssen knocked down ten points. Aidan Schmidt was the lone Knight in double-digits with eleven. The Rockets are now 6-0 on the season, while the Knights have a mark of 2-3. Both schools are off until December 28.
