Winterpalooza merges with winter market
Creative district staging Flyovers at Veterans Memorial Building

NEBRASKA CITY – Nebraska City Tourism and Commerce and the Nebraska City Creative District are joining the Morton-James Public Library to make their annual holiday party a day-long Christmas experience at the Veterans Memorial Building.
The library has welcomed hundreds of children for Winterpalooza the last three years and NCTC Director Amy Allgood said it makes sense to work together to create a one-stop-shop event for the city’s winter market.
Traditional Winterpalooza activities, including photos with Santa, Mr. Nick’s Toy Giveway and craft kits, will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. The winter farmers market and craft fair is scheduled downstairs. Alpha Omega Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi are offering free gift wrapping.
After lunch break, NCTC will host Christmas bingo in the basement from 2 to 4 p.m.
The Nebraska City Creative District will present the Flyovers in concert at the auditorium. Doors open at 6 p.m. for the 7 p.m. concert.
