Otoe County bridge selected for state funding

NEBRASKA CITY - The Nebraska Department of Transportation announced 11 proposals in the county bridge match program have been selected for funding.
The 2024 selections include the replacement of a concrete slab bridge in Otoe County. The bridge is over the North Fork of the Little Nemaha River north of Highway 2 and west of 42nd Road.
Selected in 2022 were a concrete box culvert over Longs Creek south of Auburn and a box culvert over Halfbreed Creek near Road 710 in Richardson County.
The bridge match program provides funding for innovative replacement and repair of deficient county bridges. The state will allocate $4 million for the September proposals.
