VALLEY - A winter weather advisory is in effect until 9 a.m. Saturday.

Motorists should plan on slippery road conditions for the Friday commute, especially near and south of Interstate 80.

Wintry precipitation is expected to begin at Interstate 80 this afternoon and spread north through the evening hours. Rain is expected from midnight to 6 a.m. across most of River Country.
