Art center presents 'Notions: Recollections'

NEBRASKA CITY - The Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts presents “Notions: Recollections” by Nadine Saylor Jan. 6 to Feb. 28.

Saylor displays larger-than-life buttons made of glass with vintage ceramic decals fired on their surface. She said her experiences in rural life and memories sparked by certain objects play a part in her glasswork.

An artist reception is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 16, from 5 to 7 p.m.
